Really cute.  I want the Math Wiz to do it one day.  Or maybe when I become a teacher I’ll do it.  Because even though I have this hunka-hunka-burnin’ love for History, I have a relatively strong background in (my brother says that I am the definition of) theatre.  I will end up doing it eventualy.  Quite possibly.  It’s actually inevitable.

Anyway, here’s an equally cute song about subjects and predicates.  It reminds me of my friend’s music (he’s a composer.  And pretty good too!  Click here.

Some of these are so cute!  And some of them could be so useful for the budding writer.  Here are a few of my favourite fonts.

I think this is cool.  There’s words that correspond to the letters.  You could enlarge them and get kids to colour them in!

I really like this one.  It’s very neat and tidy.

 

This one is made for connecting the dots and learning to write.  However I prefer this one …

 

You can see the dot on the “I”.  I think it’s a little more convenient and clear.

Saddle up your horses, we’re going for a ride!

This was a cute game, meant for the yung’uns.  You are a little sheriff, and you have to find the outlaws and lasso them into submission!  Except there’s a trick.  The outlaws say the DEFINITION of their name, instead of their name and you have to puzzle it out!  The game is simple, and fun using only the left and right arrow keys (to move) and the spacebar (to lasso).

I skimmed over the instructions the first time and was a bit confused about them.  Even after I read through them a second time a bit slower, I was still a bit confused, but I definitely got the hang of it once I started playing.

Yaarg… There be my villan!  His name be “Vacate”.  I be catchin’ him soon.  Aarrr….

Except for the part that this is a cowboy game.

There I am on the top in the white cowboy hat.  Below me are the bad guys, and I have to find the one called “Vacate”.

Oh no!  Miss B’s game was taken down off the internet!  Click here to read her shocking discovery.  Read on to hear about how much fun Miss B had. 

Miss B. does not have a green thumb.  Miss B. doesn’t even have a black thumb.   She has more like a black stare.  Or a black presence.  Either way, plants die when Miss B. is around.

But not here!  Miss B. is a gardening FIEND!

Miss B. finds Picture Three to be the most appropriate to her outward appearance.  She also does not want e-mails.  How convenient! 

Look at the cute plants I’m growing!  This site is dedicated to letting kid’s realize where their food comes from and the responsibility that comes from growing your own foods.

You have to water your plants so that they grow.  They actually take approximately the same amount of time to grow as real vegetables!  In 42 days, if I don’t virtually kill them…

Watering my pumpkin seeds…. unlike real life they talk to you and tell you when they’re angry or need more, or if you’re doing the right thing.  Unlike real life where you never know until they a) don’t sprout or b) turn brown.

This is a good, cute game, but it’s definitely something that takes time.  It’d be good for homeschooler’s curriculum or kindergarten.  There will be more updates as I grow things.

But with my luck, they probably won’t grow…
